Our mission is to raise awareness and contributions to help people in our communities who deal with a wide array of mental health and physical disabilities. With the collaboration of Gold Country Concerts, talented musicians, local businesses, health organizations, franchises, and community oriented individuals, we can achieve this by establishing an enriching environment that is fueled through the power of live-music. We will build bridges within our communities that connect our sub-groups, allowing us to engage in discourse that finds ways to bring opportunity and support to those of us who are in the most need.
STATISTICS: “Suicide rates have been rising in nearly every state, according to the latest Vital Signs report by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In 2016, nearly 45,000 Americans age 10 or older died by suicide. Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death and is one of just three leading causes that are on the rise. . .”
