Gary Hector is an Internationally Renowned and Critically Acclaimed singer songwriter from Trinidad and Tobago in The Caribbean.

The former leader and frontman for seminal Caribbean rock n roll bands ODDFELLOWS LOCAL and JOINTPOP, Hector is now on a solo career and will simply be known as, GARY HECTOR.
Hectors’ song writing is based on the classic Rock n Roll, Outlaw Country, Americana songbook, without neglecting the landscape of his homeland.
Gary Hector’s influences include: Hank Williams, ELVIS, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Gram Parsons, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, The Sex Pistols, The Clash and David Rudder.
His debut solo album was NATIONAL TRASH (3rd Aug 2021). With the first single called “TODAY I RIDE ALONE “(1st July 2021)
Both are hauntingly beautiful slices of Americana, with shades of classic country and classic rock n roll. Which Gary jokingly refers to as “ Trinicana”
The first single and the album both made it onto early round “For Your Consideration “Grammy voting lists for 2021.
His follow up solo album MEMPHIS MEDICINE will be released in 2025.( TBC) Both albums on Vinyl.
The album was recorded at Dirt Floor Studio in Connecticut, USA with Eric M Lichter as Producer.
The first single, “Waitin’ Around To Go Viral” was released on 3rd April,2024, and it also made it onto the Early Round Grammy Voting #FYC List for Best Americana Performance ( 2024)
His Touring Experience includes Five UK Tours and a Few USA stops including the Famous New York City venue CBGB’s ( July 1999)
