In the first trimester of my pregnancy with my daughter Bella, I began showing signs of a possible miscarriage. Consumed by fear of losing her, I called my mother. My mother's calming advice was to relax, lay down on the couch, put my feet up , read my Bible and sing to the Lord. It was then that I followed my mother's instruction and wrote this song taken from Psalm 73 and Psalms 8. Bella has now grown taller than her mother and I now thank God for that moment so long ago of learning to listen to my mother, trust in God and rest in Him when I thought the worst was going to happen. A good reminder for me today to rest in Him and sing a new song.
